Shannon is passionate about millennials and their ability to disrupt the workplace. Navigating many different roles and industries, she has seem first-hand the importance of being the type of manager and mentor that brings out the best in their team despite generational differences. She knows that current management styles are broken at best and damaging at worst. She believes in the launchbox philosophy that companies and managers need to embrace their millennial employees and customers, rather than criticizing and trying to fix them.

In addition to her current roles as Sr. Marketing Coordinator and Realtor for a local San Diego real estate company, Shannon has been a creative writing tutor, research assistant, open mic host and coordinator, veterinary assistant, staff editor (Alchemy Journal of Translation, UCSD), and submissions editor (Narrative Magazine). She currently writes or has been a contributor for the following publications: Isle of Books, Scientific American Mind, The Copperfield Review, The Fat City Review, Black Fox Literary Review, Coastal Premier Properties, Intrepid International, 2K Grey, Dressage Daily, The Dark Globe, HOOT, Mooch Mooch Pets, Horse Tack Co, Mania Magazine, and The Fictorians.

Education
Shannon has a B.A. from UC-San Diego in Literature-Writing, as well as a Web Media Certificate from UCSD Extension. She is also a licensed Realtor and Notary Public in California.
